If you’re creating your first field, open the Locations feature, select the site and click on the “+ Add Field” button.
If you’ve already created a field, you can click on the blue “Add location” button and select Field. You will be asked to select the site where the field is located.
Then, Select the first option for “Input my field and bed dimensions”
Enter Field Details
You’ll need to enter the following information to create an the Input field:
Number of Beds
Bed length (in feet)
Tillage method (Tractor or Hand-Scale/BCS)
Bed width (in inches)
Path width (in inches, for Hand-Scale/BCS only)
Once you’ve entered these details, click on the blue “Create Field” button and the field shape will be placed on the satellite image.
You can click and drag the field shape to move it into the correct position on the map. The angle or orientation of the field shape can be adjusted using the slider at the bottom of the screen, the up/down arrows, or entering the field angle directly.
Once you’ve created the rectangular field shape, you can adjust the length of each bed to account for the actual lengths of your beds. When you hover over a bed on the left-hand side of the screen, the bed will be highlighted in blue on the map. Click on the bed to edit, and you can enter a new bed length and click update to redraw the new bed length on the map. You can also trim the first or last beds by clicking on the bed to edit and then clicking Delete.
To finish creating your Field, click Save.
