Tasks is a blanket term for all types of to-dos on Tend. Planting, sowing, harvesting, fertilizing and more all become tasks so that you can easily manage them all from your calendar or a list.
Since we know you might weed blocks of crops on the same schedule or fertilize your flowers using the same method, we've also created Task Templates. Task Templates are a way for you to create one group of tasks or details and apply it to as many relevant tasks as you want.
To access and manage your Tasks follow the instructions below:
Login to Tend
Click on "Tasks" on the left-hand side of the screen
Click the blue "Add Task" button and input the task name
Depending on the task name relevant information will appear to complete
Upon completion, click "Create Task"
If you select one of the recent tasks in the list, it automatically populates details based on your previous entries.
If you want to create a new task, simply start typing the new name to generate a task and fill in the relevant information.
If you're inputting previously completed tasks then the quick-add task screen makes it easy. You enter your task information and click on the "Complete" checkbox to record the tasks
Finally if you want to input additional details, from the planting details screen you can click "more options" and complete the information as needed.
If you want to find, update, or edit tasks, use the task search bar to search by keyword.
Once you've located the desired task, simply click on it to edit any information.
You can also manage your tasks through our sorting feature which allows you to sort based on priority, name, type, crop, location, assignee, due date, and recently created.
