Tend creates a safe home for your farm’s data in the Records Feature, so you can rest assured that your information is recorded, organized, and ready for you to access when you need it.
Records are automatically created for Expenses, Notes, completed Tasks, and logged Harvests and Yields. You can expand your farm’s database in Tend by creating Records for any information or activities you want to track or have on hand to support your management.
Find the information you need in Records by searching with keywords or applying filters. For example —if you use Tasks to plan a certain activity type, such as fertilizing and amending, then applying filters in Records will generate a list of all of your completed fertilizing and amending Tasks with details on when those Tasks were completed, where, and on which crop. This enables you to instantly organize and prepare documentation for organic certification and to efficiently drill into your farm data for a deep analysis of your operations.
As you continue planning your seasons and managing your farm with Tend, your Records database will become increasingly robust as it is populated with your farm’s information. These Records flow into Tend’s Reports Feature to provide insights into your production realities, so you can continually incorporate learnings from previous seasons into your plan for long-term improvements that grow your business.
Tend Tip: The Records Feature makes it easy to store and view soil test results, so you can make a plan that builds your farm’s fertility year over year.
